40MM BALL CHECK VALVE

A high-quality 40 mm ball check valve, ideal for sewage, waste water and liquid manure applications. The closing member is a ball: reverse flow moves the ball toward the conically-tapered seat, forming a positive seal that stops reverse flow — avoiding the risk of a pump recycling and burning out.

Design features

• Reliable, quiet, and specially designed for polluted, thick and viscous liquids
• When fluid flows, the ball is lifted and guided into the housing — totally out of the way of the fluid, so there is no narrowing of internal flow capacity (very low head loss, full clearance)
• As flow reduces the ball drops back; while returning to the closed position it self-cleans, so no debris impacts the quality of the seal
• Can be installed vertically or horizontally
